Ammobia named one of the 10 Most Promising Companies at the 22nd Annual Rice Alliance Energy Tech Venture Forum!

HOUSTON, September 18

Out of 97 energy tech ventures, AMMOBIA was selected by investors as one of the “10 Most Promising Companies” at the 22nd Annual Rice Alliance Energy Tech Venture Forum hosted by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship on September 18, 2025. The event was an anchor event for the Second Annual Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week, bringing global attendees to Houston. More than 70 investor groups participated in one-on-one meetings during Office Hours with companies and a total of nearly 730 meetings. From that, they chose 10 companies that represented the most promising based on those that have an innovative technology that is solving a large problem, have customers willing to pay for it and have the right team to build and grow their company.

Ammobia is pioneering a breakthrough in clean ammonia production by deploying a next-generation “Haber-Bosch 2.0” process that cuts energy use by half and achieves up to 80% conversion versus traditional plants.  Their modular, capital-light systems make it possible to build ammonia production facilities close to demand, reducing reliance on long supply chains.  Because ammonia carries no carbon, it can serve both as a zero-carbon fuel and a hydrogen carrier, positioning Ammobia at the nexus of decarbonization in energy, fertilizers, and chemicals. As the world seeks to shift toward cleaner fuels, Ammobia is uniquely positioned to unlock low-cost, sustainable ammonia production at scale.
